Environmentally friendly dry cleaning services. GREEN “going green” is trendy. It’s a buzz-worthy topic of conversation, we’ve made it our policy to not only meet, but to exceed all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA requirements.
We’re part of the community. Billy's Cleaners at Tatum and Bell, as part of the North Phoenix and Scottsdale community, has been cleaning the band uniforms of local schools and choir robes for churchs since they opened in 1999.
Billy Hallstrom grew up in Scottsdale AZ, and graduated from Saguaro High. After graduating from Grand Canyon University he was drafted into Professional baseball by the San Diego Padres, in the 1976 spring amateur draft. He played in the minor leagues with the Padres for 3 years and Cleveland Indians for a year. After getting released by the Indians he taught and coached at Kingman Jr HS before being asked to join in the dry cleaning business, and has owned 3 very successful dry cleaning stores before opening this one at Tatum and Bell. He is graduate of the International Fabricare Institute School of Dry Cleaning. While Billy did not get “called up” to the Big Leagues, Billy has continued to coach, he is currently a part-time assistant baseball coach at Arizona Christian University, where you will find him on spring afternoons still following his passion. And Billy is passionate about his business; he says it is all about Service “we all do the same thing – dry cleaning is dry cleaning, but I care about my customers, I get to know them, and they become my friends”
